While the PhONEday Convertor‚Ñ¢ will handle data conversion correctly, there may be cases where it has not recognised a number as a telephone number. If this happens, the number will not be converted. The main occasion when this may occur is if you have two telephone numbers in the same field within a record. Only the first number will be converted unless the two numbers are separated by a comma.
Therefore, before importing the data back into the originating application, it is worthwhile examining the converted file using a spreadsheet or a word- or text-processor. If there are any striking anomalies, you can make any changes here and save the document as an ascii/text file in the correct tab- or comma-delimited format (consult the manual of the application you are using to examine the data file if you are unsure how to do this correctly).
